Senior Ministry Events

Wednesday, Nov. 2, 12:00n – Our very own Meg Hunn will be our guest speaker for Lunch and Learn. Join us in the Chapel for Holy Eucharist at noon followed by our program in Parish Hall. $6 lunch donation.

Friday, Nov. 4, 12:00n – Meet at Symphony Hall for "Espana" directed by Asst. Symphony Director, Sarah Hicks, which will feature music by Bizet. Group discounted tickets are only $15. Lunch afterwards at a restaurant near downtown.

Friday, Nov. 18, 12:00n - Lunch at Tobacco Warehouse in Durham at noon, followed by the world famous NYC Rockettes at 2:00p, at the beautiful new theatre in Durham, DPAC. Tickets are taken, but put your name on a waiting list.

Wednesday, Dec. 7, time TBA – This special Christmas program will be lovely with music from the Jr. League Choir, followed by lunch in the parish hall.

Thursday, Jan. 5, 12:00n – Alexandra Hunter, with an impressive Museum background, will provide a Rembrandt preview on what to expect at the upcoming exhibit at the NC Museum of Art. Lunch and Learn in the parish hall.

Friday, Jan. 6, 10:00a – Docent led tour of Rembrandt at NC Museum of Art followed by lunch in Museum Café. Museum members tour the exhibit for free, non-members $15 tickets. Lunch ($20) follows in the cheerful Museum Café. Christ Church parishioner June Finkbeiner, will be one of our docents.

Friday, Feb. 17, 12:00n – Come join our group and see NC Symphony Maestro Grant Llewellyn conduct a terrific Friday "New World Symphony" program. Group symphony tickets are $15 and we'll head out to lunch downtown. Don't miss it!.

Saturday, Feb. 18, 2:00p – Join us to see the fabulous show "Les Miserables" in downtown Raleigh at the NC Theatre. This marks the special 25th anniversary of this show and it'll be a blow your socks off performance! Discounted group ticket prices are $82 for dress circle, $59.50 for center mezzanine and $50.50 for front balcony. Payment due by Oct. 28 to Cassie.

Tuesday, Apr. 3 – Come tour the don't-miss-it five acre garden of Christ Church Member Mary Joslin. The gardens reflect a lifetime commitment to nature, preservation and gardening. Mary will guide the garden tour and then we'll enjoy boxed lunches outside in her colorful garden.
