Wake Interfaith Hospitality Network
In this season of hope and giving, it is with great joy and excitement that we remind you of the wonderful opportunity that lie ahead for Christ Church.
For the entire week of February 13-20, 2011, Christ Church will be hosting families in the Baker Wing as a way to assist them in their quest to regain stability, and eventually permanent independence in our community. These families will be sleeping in makeshift bedrooms, and eating food that will be provided by Christ Church parishioners.
As the holiday season winds down, we will be actively looking for volunteers to help make our guests’ stay at Christ Church as comfortable and as pleasurable as possible. What a fantastic way to offer ourselves and give to those less fortunate than we are, especially in this incredible season of hope.
If you have an interest in volunteering or questions regarding the project, please visit the website (www.WIHN.org) or contact one of the following committee heads below.
