Outreach Programs
Outreach Ministry
Christ Church, on average, pledges 10% of its budget to outreach ministries. Christ Church Outreach Ministries (CCOM), a standing committee of the parish, is charged with administering these funds by organizing nearly all parish outreach programs and approving grants to nonprofit organizations both local and abroad who show unwavering commitment to serving God’s people and bearing witness to Jesus’ compassion and teaching.
CCOM in particular favors support of its foundation ministries, those programs started and otherwise fostered by parish family members, which include a very rich and varied set of programs.
CCOM attempts to attract parishioners to participate in outreach programs by offering many local projects and occasional mission trips abroad.
The various outreach programs, both organized by CCOM and by others in the parish family, can be found to the right.

April 27, 2010 - Work on Christ Church’s 11th Habitat house is underway
Construction of our parish's latest Habitat house for Ebere Nwoji and her children, Udochukwu and Chinemeren, began on April 17. All members of Christ Church and their friends who are at least 16 are invited to help build this house. No building skills are required to participate, and you do not have to come every week. Lunch makers are also needed. Sally & Bob Chapman are the volunteer house leaders. If you would like to work in this important Christ Church outreach, please join us on Saturdays at the SITE. Contact Sally & Bob Chapman to have your name added to the email list and building schedule.
