Christ Church volunteers, led by Sally & Bob Chapman; clergy, Habitat staff and other guests joined Ebere Nwoji and her children, Udochukwu and Chinemeren, at the dedication of their new home on Sept. 19. Ebere is pictured below with Bob & Sally Chapman.
A friend told Eber's story of winning the lottery in Nigeria which enabled her to come to the U.S., tracking down a friend to stay with, walking miles to work, making a friend who saw her walking every day-- determination like you would not believe!
To celebrate her family's new home, Eber prepared a Nigerian feast featuring a goat entrée, beef cakes and other delicious specialties. What a wonderful hostess! 100_1611web.jpg
